Aristotle

Greek philosopher and scientist Aristotle (384–322 BCE) was seventeen when he arrived in Athens to study at Plato's Academy. He remained there until his mentor died in 347. Aristotle spent the next five years in Asia Minor before Philip II of Macedon appointed him to tutor his son Alexander. When Aristotle returned to Athens in 335, he founded his school (the Lyceum). He was accused of impiety after Alexander died in 323 and left the city. He probably had Socrates' fate in mind as he departed. Aristotle took refuge at Chalcis in Euboea and died there the following year. See here for a more detailed biographical sketch.
