Townes van Zandt

Given an acquaintance with Texas singer-songwriters that goes back to the early seventies and Jerry Jeff Walker’s Viva Terlingua, I’ve been aware of Townes Van Zandt for close to thirty years, but there are some things you don’t quite get around to exploring in a timely manner. Over the years I’ve picked up a fair sample of Townes in unofficial settings, but it’s time to start exploring the old extensive discography…
