It's a long way from the feather-boa glam rock dude who played synthesisers and other devices with Roxy Music to one of the most significant musical figures of the last quarter of the twentieth century. Depending on where you sit, possibly Iconic, definitely Outstanding, almost invariably Interesting and undoubtedly Significant.
