Although Texas Dixon and Keith Rowe impressed Derrick Harriott when they auditioned for him in the late 60s, and delivered two of reggae’s most versioned staples (Tonight and Stop That Train), they faded into obscurity. They emigrated (to Canada and the USA respectively) and may well have languished in obscurity but for Vanilla Ice’s take on Stop That Train in the early 1990s. So, Significant.
