Warren Zevon

WArren Zevon 2

'With a cold eye, a boozer's humour, and a reprobate's sense of fat,' noted Griel Marcus, 'thos Cslifornia rounder put LA back on the rock'n'roll map and nearly blew the Malibu singer-songwriter crowd right off it.' (Barney Hoskyns, Waiting for the Sun: Strange days, weird scenes and the sound of Los Angeles pp. 281-2) Iconic, though I still find it hard to believe that I saw him live.

In Home Hill, of all places.

As a "special guest" of the Little River Band.
