Ragged Glory

Neil's eighteenth studio album, and his sixth with Crazy Horse, released in September 1990 after sessions at Neil's Broken Arrow ranch in April.

Hughesy's assessment According to the NYA Archives site, the approach (a set of songs played twice a day over a couple of weeks without second takes of anything) with the best takes used for the album  removed 'analysis' from the equation.

"Thinking," we are told, "is deadly to the Horse." Which may be true. Fortunately, in this case, there's a strong set of material, an approach that means they'll nail it eventually. Skip the last track and the rest is Essential.
