Africa Show

Africa Show was founded in 1968 by percussionist and dancer José Massano Júnior, Zéca Trilene on Rhythm Guitar, Tony Galvão on organ and Quim Amaral played reco-reco and was one of the most modern sounding groups in Angola at that time.

Following a succession of hits, recorded in the period from 1969 to 1973, the "Conjunto Africa Show" recorded the double-sided singles "Lamento" and "Merengue bomba", by Antonio Imperial (Baião), "Massango" , a traditional song with compositions by José Massano Júnior and Quim Amaral, and "Amor é azul", an instrumental by Tony Galvão on a melodic basis by Perre Cour and André Pop, "Rosa" by Massano Júnior and Zeca Júnior, "Compass "by Massano Júnior and Quim Amaral, " Toyota ", an instrumental by Tony Galvão on a melodic basis by Hugo Blanco, and" Merengue La Tambora "," Girls of Today "by Massano Júnior, and" Merengue Laboreiro Alfaiate " of Baião and Tony Galvão, "Inspiration of Nito" and "Night of harmony", collective authorship of the single, Africa Show 73.  (Discogs)
