The man noted for a 'different every night' live show does (basically) the same greatest hits setlist five nights a week for fourteen months with the spoken introductions, in many cases. Longer than the songs themselves.
Hughesy's assessment: Long time fans will be fully aware of Bruce's story-telling ability. Here he delivers a career-spanning retrospective with each song fitting into a carefully woven narrative that emerges as a stunning achievement. Not, perhaps, something for repeated replays on a nightly basis, but a powerful reminder of how spellbinding solo Springsteen can be. Outstanding.
