Benny Spellman

Benny Spellman

Benny Spellman is maybe best known as the bass voice on Ernie K-Doe's hit "Mother-in-Law." Spellman had some success on his own too ... and he also sang for a while with Huey Smith's Clowns. (Rick Koster, Louisiana Music p. 106)
