The Deacons’ ‘Fagged Out’ is an extremely rare 45 that came out on the Leonarc New Orleans label Neo-Fo and is their only release (believed not to be the same group who released a single with Josh Armistead and Syl Johnson in Chicago), a pulsating break-heavy second-line parade beat organ led instrumental, similar in style to The Gaturs, Willie Tee’s group in the early 70s.
