Larry Campbell

Larry CampbellMulti-instrumentalist Larry Campbell (guitar, pedal steel guitar, slide guitar, mandolin, and violin) shot to prominence thanks to a stint in Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour band (1997 to 2004), though he was coming off years of experience as a studio musician. Studio credits over the years include Judy Collins, Kinky Friedman, Levon Helm, Hot Tuna, B. B. King, Little Feat, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, and Linda Thompson,.

All that came after  stint with The Woodstock Mountains Revue alongside (among others) Artie & Happy Traum,Eric Andersen and John Sebastian in the late 1970s.

In the post-Dylan era, his most significant contribution has come through his association with Levon Helm, producing Helm's Dirt Farmer and Electric Dirt, and acting as musical director for his Midnight Ramble concerts. He is married to Teresa Williams.
