Hughesy's assessment: While generally regarded as one of the keystones of British Summer of Love psychedelia, the album hasn't held up as well as the Barrett-era singles o\ver the years. A sign, perhaps, that the Barrett-led incarnation was never going to last very long (not enough strong material, padded out by Wind in the Willows whimsy). Significant, and in some ways a sign of things to come,but you really needed to be there at the time.
