The Complete Matrix Tapes

Velvet Underground-2015-Complete Matrix Tapes

The shows that formed the basis of 1969: The Velvet Underground Live, recorded at Marty Balin's hundred-seat club in San Francisco. But that was only two discs.

Hughesy's assessment: It all depends on how many versions of the Lou Reed classics you need, and whether you need thirty-six minutes of Sister Ray at all. I do. Sound quality is better than Live at Max's Kansas City, though still hardly professional audiophile quality. Still, quite Acceptable.
