The audio content of the first volume of the encyclopeadic seven volume compilation The Early Years

Hughesy's assessment: While the John Latham studio improvisations that set the Floyd off on their voyage from derivative R&B based rock band to the further sstretches of the cosmos mightn't stand up to repeated listens, there's plenty here that does.

Mileages may vary, but the early singles are definitely Worthwhile, as is the Stockholm live material, and the 1965 recordings are surprisingly good. All up, at the very least, Acceptable.
