Hughesymuzik?

Office CornerBack among the multitude of half-baked ideas and uncompleted projects that litter my past there was a brief period when I entertained notions of musical grandeur.

Back in the days when I was presenting on the local community radio station, labouring under the delusion that people were actually listening to what I was inflicting on the airwaves. With two hour shows on Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening I started thinking in terms of a late night show, presenting interesting low volume music from my collection, say between eleven on Thursday night and three on Friday morning, presented through the agency of the station's auto DJ program.

I even had a title for it: I could hav run with A Little Late Night Music, but I liked the notion of Eine Keine Hughesymuzik. All I needed to do was insert the musical vontent into the station computer. Needless to say, it didn't happen.

And before long I was finished with the air waves, pulling the plug after the perceived aftermath of a surgical procedure made wearing headphones uncomfortable. I reckoned I'd take a spell, wait until people started telling me they missed the show, and see whether the headphones issue had worked itself out.

But no one asked when I'd be back on air, so the break is now well over a decade.

But that title, Eine Kleine Hughesymuzik was too good to discard, so when we needed to rework The Music Pages at The Little House of Concrete. Now, if we can turn this into a standalone app...

So, What Is It?
