Buddy Woods

Texas slide guitarist Oscar "Buddy" Woods recorded thirty-five tracks between 1930 and 1940,  solo and as part of tthe Shreveport Home Wreckers duo, which later expanded to become the  si or /seven piece Wampus Cats. He may well have been the original driving force behind the emergence of the slide guitar and an influence on Robert Johnson and Son House.
