This Winnipeg garage outfit outfit moved towards its classic line-up in 1965, though the rooys go back to 1958. They moved on from there to become a Canadian institution (if an entry in The Canadian Encyclopedia is any indication) as they moved on through pop rock and psychedelia, but hereabouts they're one of the outfits that delivered the 2006 Melbourne Cup trifecta.
