Real Estate Manners
I woke one morning in 2008 with clear memories of a dream that involved teenage kids throwing stones at a TV camera crew. On my walk that morning I turned my thoughts to the dream,to figure out who these kids could have been and what might have been taking place around them. Those musings lead to Real Estate Manners. I haven't figured all of it out yet, but the draft represents what I've come up with to date.

Desperate Days at the Crossroads is the sequel to Dirty Work. Not entirely sure where it’s going, but at least I’ve made a start.

The Real Australia
After my parents moved south, I was living at a college on the University campus on the same corridor as a fellow History IIH (Problems In Australian History) student. Late night discussions of seminar topics produced a scenario for a movie about the Real Australia, product of a time when a focus on the Australian identity produced The Legend of King O’Malley and Bazza McKenzie. The original version was populated by University acquaintances, all of whom were going to play grossly distorted versions of themselves and was going to be filmed in Ravenswood. This new version, prompted by a reminiscence over a glass or three takes what I can recall of the original plot line with a completely new cast of characters.

Again, the draft is currently in progress, but if you’re interested, feel free to drop me a line.

The Bogus Sly Council
Issues regarding town planning and development applications were widely discussed around Bowen a couple of years ago, and while I've had a serious look at some of them in Bowen 25 Years On, I had a few satirical thoughts about such matters. The Bogus Sly Council is the result, though it’s nowhere near ready for public disclosure.
