Over the years there have been a number of authors I’ve encountered who’ve become, more or less, automatic buys whenever a new title appears. You’ll find some of them in the list in that side bar on the left. Not all of them, of course, because the process of rereading everything each one of them has written, but the list will be filled in gradually. You’ll find that list links to a lengthy essay, probably very much a work in progress, with a chronological discussion of the particular author’s writing.

You’ll probably also find pieces on the individual volumes over in the Library Fiction and Library Non-Fiction pages.

Non-clickable entries on the list are there as a reminder to Yours Truly and will gradually disappear as the rereading process kicks into higher gear.
