Hughesy's assessment: This is where one marvels at the difference a couple of years made in the mid-sixties. Apart from the classic She's Not There, the rest of the original album is an unremarkable collection by a decent band with not much to distinguish themselves from the competition apart from a genuinely classy vocalist. Acceptable,and though one can spot signs of good things to come (Tell Her No, I Love You), there's little sign of the quantum leap to come.
