Young's nineteenth studio album recorded from September 1991 to February 1992 and released nine months later, returns to his commercial heyday.
Hughesy's assessment: While it produced yawns at the time from those of us who preferred the ditch to the mainstream, this return to successful formula exercise contributed some of Young's best material in solo acoustic mode. Maybe the longevity of those classics in Neil's subsequent setlists has something to do with the commercial success but the rest of the album works more consistently than later returns to the same mode. Outstanding, and a strong argument for increased focus (which, of course, we ain't gonna get.).
