Hughesy's assessment: Covering all three stages of the Bluenotes era (the early shows which were, essentially Crazy Horse plus horns, the club tour to promote This Note's For You and a tour of larger venues) Volume 11 in the Archives Performance Series fills a major gap in the Neil Youngstory.
A purist might quibble with some of the arrangements and presentation, but there's plenty of enthusiasm and some of the content, particularly the nineteen-minute Tonight's The Night is downright awesome. Outstanding.
