Taylor and his band were touring Nigeria in 1980 when he met Chief Tabansi of Tabansi Records. A quick session followed, then Taylor and company resumed their scheduled itinerary. The recording then sat on the shelves, forgotten, until BBE approached Joe Tabansi looking to reissue the label's back catalogue and unreleased material. These masters emerged during the reissue proces .
