An independent release to stock up the merch booth at live shows, now (finally) available through iTunes.
Hughesy's assessment: Pretty much what you'd expect if you translate the title. Live, all-acoustic readings of some old favourites and the odd newer item. The material is mostly in Spanish (Kiko's Two Janes and Saint Behind the Glass, and the Los Super Seven Teresa in English), goes back as far as the original Just Another Band from East L.A. (El Cuchipe and Guantanamera), and ends up in the 2005 equivalent of the present, calling in to La Pistola y el Corazon and Colossal Head along the way.
You mightn't pick it as live (audience noise is minimal, you'd hardly know they were there), but it's undoubtedly lively. A welcome addition to the library that will add an infectious vitality to the Hughesy's Top 10,000 as it percolates its way up the playlists. Rewarding.
