Hughesy's assessment: Works in progress that, largely, were the writer having a go at the new material without anything much in the way of decoration.It's easy to see producer Joe Boyd sending the duo back to do more writing with a We haven't got an album yet, boys. Academic/archaeoligical interest only, I fear, but Interesting and mostly Acceptable, given the background.
