Los Angeles based, but with origins in Florida and Alabama, interest in The Hour Glass stems from the presence of Duane and Gregg Allman in the last of their pre-Allman Brothers Band outfit. The remainder of the final incarnation went on to work at the legendary Mucle Shoals studio in their native Alabama.
