"The Dark Prince of Reggae," had been trained as a dentist,and sank his earnings into his own record label. A hit with Ken Boothe's "Old Fashioned Way." saw him move on toproduce some of the biggest names in reggae including John Holt, Delroy Wilson, Alton Ellis, U-Roy and Dennis Alcapone. He relocated to New York in 1976. He continued producing and delivering solo recordings until 1982. He succumbed to lung cancer two years later, aged 38. Significant.
