Hughesy's assessment: Pretty much what it says ion the title: one of a series of houserockin'samplers from Alligator. From there, of course, your mileage may vary. Given the price point and the range of artists represented, definitely Worthwhile as a basis for further investigation of the genre and the Alligator roster. One also notes the presence of previously unissued material by Roy Buchanan, Floyd Dixon, Albert Collins and Johnny Copeland and Hound Dog Taylor & the Houserockers..
