So So. Regardless of what you thought of the country leanings of Sweetheart of the Rodeo, two albums on it seemed pretty obvious that this incarnation of The Byrds had practically nothing in common with the band's high-flying heyday.
At the time (IIRC) I thought it was obvious McGuinn was running out of ideas and inspiration, and the others didn't have much to offer.
I haven't heard anything to revise the opinion that the long slide of a once rather decent band had well and truly set in. Not quite done for, but on the way to the door.
