Originally another Jamaican vocal trio (Winston Rodney, Rupert Willington and Delroy Hinds) recording for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label, Burning Spear moved on to work with Jack Ruby in 1975. Rodney split from Willington, Hinds and Ruby late in 1976 and subsequent Burning Spear releases have been, effectively, Rodney and band. Essential. File under: Roots Reggae Masters
